After spending many years in civil engineering and demolition Site Pro-Tech Managing Director, Jon Brassington, was dismayed at the unsatisfactory attempts at environmental monitoring.
“I was frustrated with the maintenance-hungry Heath Robinson contraptions that only recorded a part of what my company and its customers needed, or deserved”
He found that data provided was in a format and at intervals that did not meet his needs, nor was the situation likely to change.
“I wanted an accurate, comprehensive, automatic yet low maintenance and practicable device that would fully meet my customers and my own needs.”
AEGIS: Advanced Environmental Gauging Information System
He needed an instrument that could provide data on time, which would ensure performance compliance as well as provide hard data to fulfil contracts.
The instrument would need to be robust, reliable and in a compact format.
“It was to meet these demands that I designed and built the AEGIS. It protects your legal and contractual needs for the benefit of all.”
AEGIS has now been deployed in many locations, including the Tottenham Hotspurs football ground, proving its capabilities.
